I have broad business, accounting and audit experience. After 10 years working in a corporate environment, I started my Accounting practice in 1987. During the 1990s I wrote software to make the preparation of tax returns and financial statements more efficient. Combined with other software, this grew into CA-Systems, which eventually sold packages to approximately 60% of NZ accountants. In 1999 CA-Systems was sold, but I continued an involvement with software on a part-time basis, and I currently work for MYOB as a Subject Matter Expert.
